Data Foundation

Free yourself to focus on designing your implementation, not extracting data for it. We continuously and automatically pull your legacy-system data, daily, from week one through go-live, so cleaner data keeps flowing and your project stays on track. And it doesn't just disappear into a folder: your data lands in a database you own, giving you a real foundation for your own AI strategy going forward.

How it works: One-week on-site visit at project start to build the automated extraction. Runs entirely on your own infrastructure. Sensitive data never leaves your network.
Pricing: Flat project fee for core data extraction. Additional data services billed hourly.
Who it's for: Customers signed but not yet kicked off, or mid-implementation choosing to outsource data extraction.

The Bigger Picture

Smooth, fast, reliable, and consistent data extraction on the customer's side is the single most important piece of keeping an implementation on track. The number one reason implementations get delayed is issues extracting customer data, some source systems are simply harder to pull from than others, some require real technical expertise, running reports can be time-consuming, and it's not always obvious exactly what the platform needs, which creates back-and-forth between you and the platform team. Getting this handled cleanly and consistently from day one makes the rest of the implementation dramatically smoother. We go on-site to get this in place in one week, drastically accelerating the time to get your team using the application with your data.

Production parallel is critical to a smooth implementation, but can be time-consuming: various files are needed daily for at least one month of parallel prior to go-live. Our goal on Nexus-led implementations is to reach parallel within the first month and maintain it continuously all the way to go-live. That unlocks real testing throughout the project: your actual data, your integrations, your external files, the daily reports your teams depend on, instead of everyone working off stale implementation data until we reach production.

With AI rapidly changing our landscape, one truth remains: having your data organized sets you up for success. The Data Foundation pipeline can be expanded to pull data from sources that typically don't integrate well with AI, unlocking workflows that bridge the gap between your firm's local network and your web-based applications.

What you don't have is someone in your corner: an independent expert who has been through this before and understands the ins and outs of the process. We're focused solely on your interests, keeping the project on track and holding everyone, including your own team, accountable to their part.
